Wheezi (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a smart inhaler accessory and companion mobile application (“the App”) that enables users to track inhaler usage, monitor battery status, and locate their device using Bluetooth and your mobile device’s location services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you interact with our App, website, or marketing channels.
1. Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information:
A. Non-Personal Information (collected automatically through the App):
– Bluetooth pairing and button usage data (puff count)
– Device battery status
– Approximate device location based on your phone’s location services (“Last Seen” and “Find My Cap” features)
– App activity timestamps (e.g., ring commands, sync events)
B. Personal Information (when voluntarily provided):
– Name
– Email address
– Phone number
– Communication preferences
– Responses to surveys, forms, or promotions
This information is collected when you engage with us via forms, newsletters, SMS opt-ins, customer support, or marketing campaigns.

3. Wheezi App Data Usage
What We Collect:
– Bluetooth data: Device ID, puff count, battery level
– Location-related data: Your mobile device’s approximate location at time of sync or disconnection
– Usage data: Sync timestamps, device pairing, in-app actions
– Notification engagement: Delivery and interaction (if enabled)
How We Use It:
– Sync and display puff count and battery level
– Trigger separation alerts based on device proximity
– Show last known device location (based on your phone’s location at time of sync)
– Enable ring-to-find functionality
– Send usage-based alerts and reminders
Location Tracking Capability:
We do not use a GPS chip inside the Wheezi device.
All location-based features are powered through your mobile phone’s Bluetooth and location services, only when permissions are granted.
We do not continuously monitor your real-time location. Location data is temporary and used only to support features like “Last Seen” and alerts.
Bluetooth Access:
Required for:
– Connecting to your Wheezi device
– Passive background scanning (if enabled)
– Triggering sync, ring, and status updates
Push Notifications:
You may receive alerts for:
– Sync reminders
– Device separation
– Low battery or usage-based triggers
Notification settings can be managed within your mobile device preferences.
4. Marketing & Communication Consent
By submitting your email or phone number, you consent to receive communications from Wheezi, including:
– Product updates and promotions
– Surveys and offers tailored to your interests
– Newsletters and app feature announcements
SMS Compliance:
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
You may opt out of all communications via unsubscribe links or by emailing support@wheezi.com. We do not sell or share your personal data for third-party marketing.
5. Data Storage and Security
– Non-personal data is stored locally on your device.
– Personal data is stored securely with trusted third-party platforms (e.g., Shopify, email providers).
– We retain data only as long as needed to fulfill service or legal obligations.
– While we use best practices, no system is 100% secure.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to:
– Enable essential functionality

10. Medical Disclaimer
Wheezi is a wellness accessory and not a medical device.
It is not regulated by the FDA and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. Use of this product is at your own discretion and should not replace professional medical advice.
11. Anti-Stalking and Responsible Use
Wheezi’s location features are intended only to help users locate their own devices.
You agree not to:
– Use Wheezi to monitor or track others without consent
– Attach the device to someone else's belongings to covertly monitor them
– Misuse proximity or location alerts for harassment or surveillance
Any abuse may result in termination of service and could be reported to law enforcement.
12. Future Features & Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy if we introduce new features (e.g., cloud sync, user accounts). Changes will be dated at the top and communicated where required. Continued use of Wheezi after updates means you accept the revised policy.
